High Rupturing Capacity (HRC) Fuse Bases are designed to meet the modern requirement of Industrial Installation for safety. The fuse carries heavy short circuit current for a considerable period of time to protect the circuit. When the short circuit current flows through the fuse elements causing it to melt and vaporized. The chemical reaction between the silver vapor and filling powder forms a high resistance substance suitable to quench the arch and thus protecting the circuit.
